Collection of useful resources regarding the Russo-Ukrainian war

The institutes Cyber Valley consists of include citizens of both Ukrainian and Russian decent. As a vibrant ecosystem we thrive by uniting people from all countries in the world. We draw strength by bringing people from different backgrounds together in an environment in which we learn from and support each other. The universities of Stuttgart and Tübingen, the Max Planck Society as well as the state of Baden-Württemberg do not condone the war and have issued respective press releases. Individually, they are joining forces to offer help for the ones in need and ways to assist for the ones willing to help.

The University of Stuttgart issued a press release and extended the deadline and simplified the application procedure of the Philipp Schwartz Initiative for scientists at risk.
The University of Tübingen has set up a very resourceful webpage where you can find useful links on how and where to get help and support. Here can find the corresponding press release.
The Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems has created an e-mail address for its employees to provide them with the best possible support.
The Max Planck Society published a call for peace and a press release.
The state of Baden-Württemberg is collecting their respective information material and the Ministry of Science, Research and Art also put together FAQs and further resources (predominantly in German) as well as a press release.
Ranzom is a non-profit organization in the Ukraine which lists various ways on how you can support, donate, volunteer, and educate yourself. Razom, Inc. is supporting the people of Ukraine in their pursuit of a democratic society with dignity, justice, and human and civil rights for all. Razom coordinates groups of volunteers and fundraising efforts to build a prosperous Ukraine project by project.
If you are facing challenges in your work or personal life, please speak with your supervisor, trusted colleagues, family members or friends. In case that is not an option, the German pastoral care offers conversations for anyone who experiences uneasiness related to or increased by the war via 0800 111 0111 or 0800 111 0222. The service is under the responsibility of the Protestant and Catholic churches and available in German only. The private initiative “Tübingen hilft Ukraine” (Tübingen helps Ukraine) organizes transporters with humanitarian aid supplies to Lviv and Mukachevo, where, according to its own information, non-profit organizations as well as relatives and acquaintances will distribute the funds, for example in the direction of eastern Ukraine. In addition to financial support, the initiative also asks for donations in kind.
